Cork

The simplicity of beauty.

Natural, versatile and sustainable, cork is the bark of Cork Oak Tree (Quercus Suber L.), which means that it is a natural plant tissue with unique properties that allow a wide range of applications.

 

Black Clay

Black clay is traditional from the north of Portugal. We can find many craftsmen on Vila Nova de Poiares, Tondela or Bisalhães (Vila Real). The colour comes from a baking technique nominated, in Portuguese, as “Soenga”. On the final process of bake, all pieces are covered with pine wood and soil to stop entering oxygen. In that way, each piece acquires a dark tone and becomes waterproof.
